CASE STUDY: We were given the four images below from the CD Game "Operation" and were asked to create looping music clips for each:
You will need RealAudio/RealMedia plug-in. Get it here.
Main Theme: [ Real Audio Format ] * [ MP3 Format ]
The form of this cue is A-A-B. It's easy to make it A-B and loop it. Also the intro can be trimmed.
Space Lab: [ Real Audio Format ] * [ MP3 Format ]
This cue actually loops twice with a little ending tag where the third loop would ordinarily begin.
Jungle: [ Real Audio Format ] * [ MP3 Format ]
This starts out with a solo voice and can be made to end the same way to facilitate easy looping. The pounding drums may be a bit loud. Easy to "fix in the mix".
Dinosaur Theme: [ Real Audio Format ] * [ MP3 Format ] This one has built-in dinosaur yells which can be removed. It ends with a pickup note designed to melodically grab the beginning for a loop.
