Online Store Image Preparation
If your ecommerce product images are not as sharp and professional-looking as they should be, we can help.
Often times—depending on both the nature of the products you are selling and the website product photography itself, it's just not practical for product photography to be in the perfect setting. So when it's not practical and/or not budget-permitting to photograph your products in their natural environment, the images must be manipulated in Photoshop to achieve the desired result.
Often it's the last thing considered when setting up an online store, when in reality, it should be one of the first.
We all know buying is essentially an emotional decision, and what better way to satisfy that emotional "buy now" instinct than with top-notch ecommerce product images.
In the years we've been building online stores, we've often been asked to "make a silk purse out of a sow's ear". In other words, the client has asked that we enhance their online store Images in one way or another. In the case of www.CaliforniaOutdoorConcepts.com, the product imagery they had supplied us for patio products they manufacture in China and ship over the USA for sale was downright dismal. Further, they were not in their natural settings.
Our work cut out for us. In order for these ecommerce images to sell some products, they had to be composited into actual settings. So we went to work. They also asked that we prepare print-ready shots (as available) in addition to the web-ready imagery and post it online for their distributors to easily access. So we created this download page on their site.
